Posted: 15th April 2024

Today, Propel@YH alumnus MyOpNotes, has secured Innovate UK grant funding to support the integration of its digital platform for surgeons in the NHS, improving patient outcomes and enhancing hospital efficiencies. The grant has been supported by Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber, Leeds Innovation Pop Up and the NHS Insites Programme.

MyOpNotes was one of eleven innovators chosen for Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber’s flagship accelerator programme, Propel@YH, which offers a six-month course of support and guidance for HealthTech SMEs looking to access the NHS market. MyOpNotes is a digital platform that streamlines writing operation notes and improved medical coding accuracy, freeing up surgeons from paperwork and supporting better data accuracy for improved patient care.

Selected from over 70 other competitors, MyOpNotes is among eight to be honoured with this prestigious grant, signifying its promising role in the future of healthcare documentation.

The Innovate UK Launchpad Programme is aimed at SMEs across the UK who want to progress into commercialisation and supports local economic growth, aligning with the Government’s Levelling up Agenda.

The funding also supports healthcare innovation and improved healthcare outcomes in West Yorkshire.
